Beth Duncan, MD, MBA-HC
Dr. Duncan has specialized in ear, nose, and throat care for over 25 years. She received her Medical Degree from Temple University and completed her Residency at McGill University Health Centre.
Dr. Duncan treats all aspects of Otolaryngology, including ear and nasal health, head and neck cancer problems, chronic tonsillitis, management of GI reflux, sleep apnea, vestibular and balance, Meniere’s Syndrome, Allergies, and hearing aid solutions.
When not in the office, Dr. Duncan can be found painting. In fact, her artwork can be found throughout Delaware Otolaryngology Consultants’ office. She participates in Brandywine Valley and Maine art shows. Patients may also view her latest pieces on her Instagram and Facebook pages.
Hearing instrument Specialist
Vanessa Dukes, HIS
Vanessa is a hearing instrument specialist who started her career in the nursing field, where she gained her passion for caring for patients. She always has had an interest and passion in hearing care. She started advancing her education with Alpaca Audiology in 2020, where she accomplished 4 years of internship training before becoming fully licensed in Delaware.
Vanessa has had years of experience treating mild to profound hearing losses, unilateral losses and has been very successful in treating tinnitus and auditory processing disorders, alongside a physician. She is familiar with most manufactures of hearing aids and has been able to assist hundreds of patients by reprogramming and adjusting their hearing aids. She has also been able to provide free hearing care services to veterans with donated hearing aids.
When not in the office, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
Certified Medical Assistant, Allergy
Janet Skibicki, CCMA, CMAA
Janet is a dedicated and Certified Medical Assistant, specializing in Allergy for the last seven years. She earned her certifications at Delaware Technical Community College Georgetown’s Campus and received specialized allergy training from Marc Thomas, RN, an expert in the field.
Janet oversees all aspects of the Allergy department. She provides weekly allergy injections, monthly sublingual drops, allergy testing, and mixes patients’ allergy serums.
When not in the office, Janet enjoys traveling, the beach, and can often be found exploring the outdoors with her furry companion Barney Rubble.
